About Oxipital AI
Oxipital AI applies vision models to irregular products moving through food and consumer-goods lines. Its software analyses shape, colour and surface characteristics to identify defects, grade products and create structured production data from items that conventional rule-based inspection can struggle to classify.
The same perception layer can guide robotic picking by locating products and estimating how they should be handled. Oxipital works with Schmalz, which owns the former Soft Robotics gripper assets, allowing its vision and analytics software to be paired with mGrip and vacuum end-of-arm tooling without Oxipital manufacturing the grippers itself.
