About Centaur
Centaur is a medium tracked robot for EOD, CBRN detection, inspection, route clearance and casualty evacuation. Its five-degree-of-freedom arm reaches approximately 1.92 metres, while the tracked chassis climbs stairs, clears six-inch obstacles and traverses 30-degree slopes.
Visible and thermal cameras provide remote situational awareness, and the controller displays information from integrated chemical, biological, radiological and explosive sensors. Centaur is the US Army’s MTRS Increment II programme-of-record platform and supports continued payload expansion through an interoperable architecture.
