About DM-Tac W2
DM-Tac W2 is Daimon Robotics’ current visual-tactile sensor for robot hands and grippers. An internal camera observes the deformation of a compliant contact surface, allowing the system to reconstruct contact shape, force distribution, slip and local surface interaction at higher spatial resolution than discrete force sensors.
The sensor can be mounted on fingertips, palms and custom end effectors and connected to Daimon’s manipulation and data-acquisition stack. Its measurements support grasp regulation, insertion and tactile dataset production, while service resources include digital models and integration documentation. W2 succeeds the earlier DM-Tac W identity and is the current canonical product family.
