About Backpack RTK
Backpack RTK mounts Emesent Hovermap on a wearable frame with a GNSS receiver, antenna pole and associated cabling. Outdoors, real-time-kinematic or post-processed-kinematic positioning provides global coordinates; when the operator moves inside or beneath cover, Hovermap’s SLAM continues mapping without satellite visibility.
Emesent Aura aligns the GNSS and SLAM records and automatically corrects accumulated drift when the operator returns to satellite coverage. The workflow reduces manual ground-control points and allows one continuous survey across exterior and interior spaces. The kit supports compatible Emlid, Trimble and Leica GNSS equipment for mines, construction sites and industrial facilities.
