About Panther
Panther uses four independently driven brushless geared motors within an aluminium chassis designed for outdoor and industrial research. The standard platform includes an inertial unit, GNSS-capable cellular router, onboard computer, 720-watt-hour battery and open mounting surfaces for sensors and application equipment.
ROS and ROS 2 packages expose drive, battery, safety and telemetry functions, allowing teams to add navigation, autonomy and payload control without replacing the embedded platform layer. Options include NVIDIA Jetson or Intel compute, lidar, RGB-D cameras, manipulators, larger batteries, mecanum wheels, IP66 protection and wireless charging. Panther is supplied as a configurable development and deployment base for varied UGV applications.
