About TRON 1
TRON 1 is a compact bipedal research robot with interchangeable point-foot, sole-foot and wheeled foot-end modules. The common leg and control architecture allows researchers to compare walking, balancing and wheel-legged locomotion without changing the complete robot. High-torque joints and onboard state estimation support dynamic movement across different configurations.
LimX provides simulation environments, reinforcement-learning examples and low-level control access for locomotion development. The platform is intended for universities and robotics teams studying motion policy transfer between simulation and hardware. TRON 1 is commercially available as a research system.
