About Meca500

Meca500 is a six-axis industrial robot with a 330-millimetre reach, 500-gram rated payload and stated repeatability of five micrometres. Its controller is integrated inside the robot base, removing the separate cabinet normally associated with an industrial arm and allowing the complete unit to fit inside compact instruments and machines.

The robot is controlled directly through Ethernet commands and standard programming interfaces without a proprietary teach pendant or dedicated programming workstation. Cameras, instruments and process tools can be coordinated from a PLC or computer, supporting micro-assembly, optical alignment, testing, dispensing and laboratory automation where the robot functions as an embedded machine component.
