About DexH5

DexH5 is a four-finger hand with five active and nine total degrees of freedom. Hollow-cup motors drive grasping, pinching and pressing actions, while the lightweight biomimetic structure accommodates objects up to approximately ten centimetres in diameter and carries loads reaching four kilograms.

Each hand contains 528 ITPU multidimensional tactile units distributed across the fingers and palm. The sensing layer supports force regulation to approximately 0.1 newton and provides contact information for multimodal manipulation policies. EtherCAT and Modbus connect the hand to robot controllers, while its one-second minimum opening and closing time supports industrial and embodied-AI workflows.
