About Phoenix
Phoenix is Sanctuary AI’s humanoid robot platform for learning and performing varied workplace tasks. It combines a mobile human-scale body, two arms, dexterous hands and the Carbon control system for perception, planning, manipulation and instruction.
Phoenix remains Sanctuary AI’s humanoid development platform and a source of manipulation, hand and training research. Sanctuary’s current commercial strategy also applies its Physical AI to other industrial robot forms and end effectors. Phoenix is one embodiment within the wider technology programme.
