About RH6D Child-size Dexterous Robot Hand
RH6D is a compact five-finger hand sized for child-scale humanoids and medium robot arms. Its 15 degrees of freedom reproduce finger flexion and thumb opposition within a smaller palm and wrist envelope. Mechanically linked joints allow the fingers to conform around objects while keeping actuator count and hand mass manageable.
Seed Robotics supplies left- and right-hand versions with communications and control support for research integration. The hand is used for grasping, teleoperation, social robotics and manipulation experiments where an adult-size end effector would distort the host robot’s proportions or payload budget.
