About Skydio R10
R10 is a compact protected-propeller aircraft for indoor public-safety and tactical operations, not a docked drone-as-first-responder system. The 785-gram platform uses a one-inch low-light camera on a 180-degree gimbal, stereo navigation cameras with NightSense, floodlights, a speaker and microphone for inspection and communication inside buildings.
Vision-based navigation supports flight without GPS, while reinforced guards and Turtle Mode allow the aircraft to recover after impacts or an inverted landing. It flies for up to 20 minutes and can perch for three hours while continuing to transmit video and audio. Dual-SIM cellular and Skydio connectivity options support remote interior operations.
