About Tacta Hand
Tacta Hand uses a human-scale five-finger arrangement with 15 articulated joints and Fluidic Tendon actuation. The tendon architecture is intended to reproduce compliant finger motion while maintaining sufficient force for industrial manipulation. Tacta Sensor modules embedded across the hand provide contact, force, slip, texture and temperature feedback during interaction.
The hand is designed for connector insertion, alignment, fastening, threading and delicate component handling that resist conventional two-finger grippers. Tacta Dexterous AI interprets demonstrations captured through Tacta Glove and adjusts execution from live tactile feedback. The complete system was unveiled in July 2026 and is being developed for high-value manufacturing as a newly introduced end-effector platform.
