About TIAGo Pro
TIAGo Pro uses four mecanum wheels for omnidirectional movement and a lifting torso with 35 centimetres of vertical travel. Two seven-degree-of-freedom arms provide torque sensing and payload capacity of three kilograms each, while the expressive head carries RGB-D vision, microphones and speakers.
The robot communicates internally through a one-kilohertz EtherCAT bus and runs a ROS 2 development stack. PAL supplies simulation, navigation, manipulation and perception software alongside optional grippers, cameras and compute, supporting mobile-manipulation, HRI and embodied-AI research on one integrated platform.
