About CRG Series
CRG grippers use a servo-electric drive to set finger position, stroke and gripping force electronically. Sensorless force control limits the applied force during collaborative handling, while integrated part detection and monitoring report whether a workpiece has been acquired or lost.
PERMAGRIP mechanically retains the commanded grasp after power is removed, allowing the gripper to hold a part during an outage without continuous motor current. Absolute position sensing removes the need for homing after startup, and IO-Link provides configuration and diagnostics through the surrounding robot or machine controller.
