About D1
D1 combines a humanoid upper body with a differential-drive six-wheel base designed for indoor operation around people. Its height-adjustable torso spans 1.293–1.593 metres, while two seven-axis arms provide full torque control, joint torque sensing and brakes at every arm joint. The sensor stack includes two LiDARs, head and base depth cameras, fisheye and wrist cameras, ultrasonic sensors and contact detection, with onboard compute based on Nvidia Jetson and Ubuntu 22.04.
ZEALS positions the platform for guidance, reception, transport and patrol in hospitals, commercial facilities, logistics centres and factories. The robot carries a rated 5 kg per arm, operates for eight hours under the published specification and supports automatic or manual charging. D1 became orderable in Japan in August 2026 from ¥5 million for the hardware, with D1 OS and support offered from ¥200,000 per month; ZEALS also offers multi-unit purchasing, RaaS, leasing, insurance and maintenance plans.
