About WIRobotics
WIM is a 1.6-kilogram wearable walking robot that analyses the user’s gait and provides assistive torque through lightweight, back-drivable hip mechanisms. Its software reports walking patterns and adjusts support during everyday movement, exercise and longer-distance walking.
ALLEX extends WIRobotics’ work in compliant actuation and force sensing into humanoid manipulation. The platform is designed around human-friendly contact, dexterity and responsive motion, while the company’s commercial wearable range also includes WIM S and child-focused WIM KIDS systems.
