May 14, 2026 · Funding · WIRobotics · Humanoid

  • WIRobotics completed a KRW 95B Series B about two years after its KRW 13B Series A in March 2024
  • The funding supports expansion from WIM wearable walking-assist robots into ALLEX, its humanoid platform for human-level manipulation and physical AI research
  • WIRobotics plans to launch a research-focused humanoid platform this year and target initial commercialization with mass-production readiness late next year.

WIRobotics is a South Korean robotics company developing wearable robots and humanoid platforms. Its earlier products include WIBS, an industrial back-support wearable robot, and WIM, a daily mobility-assist wearable robot. In 2025, the company unveiled ALLEX, an upper-body humanoid platform built around compliant arms, dexterous hands, and whole-body force-responsive interaction.
