About ALLEX

ALLEX is a general-purpose humanoid upper-body platform built around whole-body compliance and high backdrivability. Its arms, hands, neck and waist detect and respond to force, contact and impact, supporting safe physical interaction and contact-rich manipulation.

The current upper-body configuration provides 15 degrees of freedom across each hand and wrist, fingertip repeatability within 0.5 millimetres and one-hand handling capacity above three kilograms.
