About ANYmal X

ANYmal X is ANYbotics’ explosion-protected quadruped for autonomous inspection in designated oil, gas and chemical process areas. It combines stair-capable legged mobility with a pan-tilt inspection payload containing zoom and thermal cameras, illumination, a microphone and lidar; an optional gas sensor adds concentration monitoring.

The current platform is certified to ATEX and IECEx requirements up to Zone 1 IIB and carries IP67 ingress protection. It can run predefined missions, collect instrument and equipment readings and integrate results with plant systems. Certification remains bounded by the exact equipment configuration, gas group and facility classification.
