About E-Series Expanding HASEL Actuators
E-Series actuators use electrically driven hydraulic pouches that expand along one axis when high voltage redistributes an internal dielectric fluid. The compliant structure produces smooth linear pushing motion without gears, pneumatic lines or a conventional electromagnetic motor.
Stroke, force and stiffness can be configured through pouch geometry, electrical drive and stacked actuator arrangements. The technology is silent, lightweight and tolerant of impact, supporting haptic surfaces, wearable devices, soft robots and compact mechanisms that must conform around users or objects. Artimus supplies evaluation units and custom actuator configurations adapted to the host mechanism.
