About Hovermap STX
Hovermap STX combines a 300-metre-range lidar, inertial sensing and Emesent’s SLAM processing in a 1.57-kilogram IP65 mapping unit. It captures up to 1.92 million points per second and creates three-dimensional maps while moving through GPS-denied or visually repetitive environments. The same payload can be carried by a drone, operator, backpack or ground vehicle.
When installed on a compatible drone, Hovermap supports waypoint autonomy, collision-aware flight and pilot-assistance functions in confined spaces. Emesent Commander manages missions and Aura processes, visualises and exports collected point clouds. The system is sold for mining, infrastructure, surveying, construction and industrial inspection workflows.
