About Galaxea R1 Lite
The R1 architecture combines dual seven-axis A1X arms, electric grippers, an actuated torso and a three-module wheeled base. Independent steering modules allow lateral movement, rotation in place and Ackermann-style travel, while the torso changes height and horizontal reach to access floors, tables, shelves and workstations.
Onboard lidar, cameras and NVIDIA Jetson compute support navigation, manipulation and data collection through a ROS 2 development environment. Galaxea provides teleoperation and simulation interfaces for imitation learning, policy evaluation and deployment. The current R1 Lite configuration is positioned for research, education and early application development.
