About SWIFTI (CRB 1100)

SWIFTI CRB 1100 is a six-axis robot with a 4 kg payload and reach options of 475 or 580 mm. It reaches tool-centre-point speeds above 5 m/s and provides stated position repeatability of 0.01 mm, giving it performance closer to a compact industrial arm than a conventional low-speed collaborative robot. Four integrated air lines support vacuum tooling.

ABB SafeMove and an external safety scanner create the collaborative operating mode while preserving production-speed capability. The robot runs at production speed while the protected space is clear and slows or stops when a person approaches based on the configured safety zones. Wizard Easy Programming and lead-through tools support assembly, insertion, kitting, inspection and machine-tending applications.
