About UR20
UR20 is a six-axis collaborative robot arm for long-reach industrial automation. It has a standard 20 kg payload across a 1,750 mm reach, with a 25 kg mode available under the centre-of-gravity and orientation conditions defined by Universal Robots. Its 64 kg arm, 245 mm mounting footprint, IP65 protection and stated ±0.01 mm pose repeatability suit palletising, machine tending, welding and material-handling cells.
The robot is programmed through PolyScope on a touchscreen teach pendant and supports hand guidance, force sensing and configurable safety functions. EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP and ROS or ROS 2 interfaces connect it to factory equipment and developer systems. Universal Robots commercially supports the UR20 within its current UR Series, with tooling and application packages available through the UR+ ecosystem.
