Event
Tulip Tech battery powers DeltaQuad Evo through eight-hour, 500 km flight
A DeltaQuad Evo using Tulip Tech’s 450 Wh/kg lithium-metal battery completed an 8-hour, 1-minute flight over 500 kilometres in rain and 22-knot crosswinds.
Evidence notes
- The all-electric VTOL aircraft completed the test with battery reserve remaining.
- Tulip positioned the result for persistent ISTAR, inspection and long-distance missions where battery swaps are impractical.
- The partners planned further testing across payload classes, weather extremes and communications systems.
