Aegiq is a full-stack photonic quantum company developing deterministic single-photon sources, modular optical hardware, control systems and software. Founded in Sheffield in 2019, it uses semiconductor manufacturing and telecom-compatible fibre interfaces to make quantum computing and communications easier to deploy. Its work includes a commissioned system at the UK National Quantum Computing Centre and quantum-enhanced monitoring for secure network links.
