Jun 16, 2026 · Product Launch · Aaronia · Sensors

Aaronia introduced the AARTOS Hawk T1 at Eurosatory 2026, extending its counter-UAS stack into a lightweight airborne payload for passive detection and geolocation of RF emitters.

  • The payload weighs under 5kg and can be integrated with commercial multirotor or fixed-wing aircraft.
  • Blind-TDoA processing supports geolocation of encrypted, unknown and non-cooperative signals.
  • Aaronia specifies 10MHz–8GHz standard coverage, with an optional 9kHz–18GHz configuration.

Aaronia is a German RF measurement, direction-finding and counter-drone technology company founded in 2003. It develops spectrum analysers, antennas and the AARTOS passive drone-detection system, with design, manufacturing, testing and calibration performed in Germany. The company says more than 600 AARTOS systems were operating worldwide by the end of 2024.
