Xaba raises $2M seed extension for manufacturing robotics
Xaba raised a $2 million seed extension led by BDC Capital's Deep Tech Venture Fund to expand its AI-powered robotics laboratory and accelerate delivery of its manufacturing platforms.

Evidence notes
- Hitachi Ventures and existing investor Hazelview Ventures also participated in the round.
- The capital was allocated to a new robotics lab and delivery of the xCognition and xTrude manufacturing platforms.
- Work with Lockheed Martin and Rolleri Robotic demonstrated tenfold absolute-positioning and fivefold relative-positioning and trajectory-accuracy improvements.
Company context
Xaba develops cognitive control software that gives industrial robots and CNC machines greater autonomy over manufacturing tasks. Its xCognition platform generates machine programs from process intent, monitors execution and adjusts control in response to material and process variation.
