Rotacaster introduces 180 mm OMNIA wheel for heavy holonomic systems

Rotacaster introduced its largest OMNIA omni-wheel, extending the platform into heavier wheelchairs, industrial carts and holonomic mobile-robot drivetrains.

Omnia Wheels, formerly Rotacaster, designs and manufactures patented multidirectional wheels in Beresfield, New South Wales. Its wheel uses fixed rollers around a rigid hub to provide omnidirectional movement without the complex roller geometry of a traditional mecanum wheel.
