EUCHNER CKS2 debuts as configurable RFID safety-key system
EUCHNER introduced the CKS2, a compact RFID safety-key system configurable for machine lockout, authorization or trapped-key operation.
Evidence notes
- FlexFunction assigns the application when an RFID key is taught in, allowing one hardware platform to support several machine-safety roles.
- The integrated evaluation electronics and highly coded transponder keys support safe machine starting, stopping and access restriction.
- CKS2 can operate as a standalone key adapter or as a submodule in the MGB2 Modular door-locking system, with IO-Link and fieldbus diagnostics available.
