Ottobock expands SUITX with connected AI ergonomics platform

Ottobock expanded its SUITX industrial exoskeleton business with connected digital-ergonomics tools combining wearable hardware, sensors and AI analysis.

  • The Volton XP Companion app combines exoskeleton sensor data with ergonomic analysis, activity profiles and usage trends.
  • Ottobock said more than 477 hours of workplace measurement informed the platform and reported strain reductions of up to 43 percent in the evaluated tasks.
  • The company also introduced a new IX SHOULDER AIR generation for overhead work in automotive assembly and other industrial settings.
