Company context
Sensonor, now Safran Sensing Technologies Norway, develops high-precision MEMS gyroscopes and inertial measurement units in Horten. The business traces its sensor technology to 1965 and became an independent specialist through a 2009 management buyout before joining Safran. Its compact inertial components support navigation, stabilisation and pointing in aerospace, defence, marine and other demanding autonomous platforms.
