KEBA announces acquisition of drag&bot
KEBA announced that it had acquired industrial-robot programming software company drag&bot as a wholly owned subsidiary.
Evidence notes
- The transaction brought drag&bot into KEBA Industrial Automation.
- drag&bot's graphical operating system supports robot programming across manufacturers and peripherals.
- KEBA positioned the software as an extension of its flexible industrial-automation portfolio.
Company context
drag&bot develops graphical, no-code software for configuring and programming industrial robots from multiple manufacturers. Founded as a Fraunhofer IPA spin-off in Stuttgart, the company created modular building blocks for motion, vision, gripping and process logic so factories can redeploy robot cells with less specialist coding. KEBA acquired a majority stake in 2021 and integrated the technology into its industrial-automation portfolio.
