Valeo wins Level 3 imaging-radar programme from global automaker
A premium global automaker selected Valeo to develop, validate and produce an imaging-radar system for hands-off, eyes-off automated driving.
Evidence notes
- The system is intended to support unsupervised highway driving at up to 130 kilometres per hour without relying on a lead vehicle.
- Valeo will lead system development, validation and production for SAE Level 3 conditionally automated driving.
- Series production is scheduled to begin in 2028.
