SmartSens and D-Robotics integrate robot-vision sensing and edge compute
SmartSens and D-Robotics announced a robot-vision stack combining square global-shutter CMOS sensors with the Sunrise S600 edge-compute platform.

Evidence notes
- SmartSens introduced three 1:1-format global-shutter sensors spanning 1.2 to 4 megapixels and 80 to 130 frames per second.
- The sensors are being adapted to the Sunrise S600 ISP and its 560-TOPS edge-compute platform.
- The combined stack targets V-SLAM, obstacle avoidance, visual navigation and manipulation workloads.
Company context
