  • BRP introduced the Rotax 915 iS at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh on July 21, 2015.
  • The four-cylinder engine combined turbocharging, an intercooler and redundant fuel injection to deliver 135 hp.
  • BRP specified full take-off power to at least 15,000 feet and a service ceiling of 23,000 feet, with serial production planned for the second half of 2017.

BRP-Rotax develops aircraft and powersports engines, including propulsion systems used across light aviation and unmanned aircraft applications. Its products sit in the engine and propulsion layer rather than the autonomous vehicle layer.
