Aurelius Systems raises $40m Series A for Archimedes production

Aurelius Systems raised a $40 million Series A led by Draper Associates and KAS Venture Partners to expand production and technical development of its autonomous Archimedes directed-energy counter-UAS platform.

Aurelius Systems develops AI-enabled directed-energy systems for detecting, tracking and defeating hostile small drones. Its counter-UAS architecture combines optical sensing, automated targeting and compact laser effectors intended to protect troops, bases and critical infrastructure with a low cost per engagement. The company is engineering deployable systems designed to complement electronic and kinetic air-defence layers.
