Avatar Robotics raises $6.5 million seed round
Avatar Robotics raised a $6.5 million seed led by AlleyCorp to expand its teleoperated humanoid workforce across warehouse and manufacturing operations.

- AlleyCorp led the seed; defy.vc led an earlier pre-seed, with Headline, Henry Ford III, Refashiond, Paul Vogel, Jack Huffard and Samuel Udotong also participating.
- Avatar said its robots had packed, sorted and helped ship more than 900,000 products in live customer environments since beginning operations in December 2025.
- The company had begun a post-pilot expansion with a multi-billion-dollar warehouse operator for sorting and picking, with additional deployments underway.
