Pratt & Whitney Canada selects Latecoere for hybrid-electric demonstrator assembly
Latecoere and Comtek Advanced Structures were selected to design and build an underwing structural assembly for the RTX Hybrid-Electric Flight Demonstrator.

Evidence notes
- The deliverable is a two-metre-long articulated all-composite underwing fairing mounted on the testbed’s starboard inner wing.
- The propulsion system combines a thermal engine with a 1 MW Collins Aerospace motor and targets a 30% fuel-burn and CO₂ improvement.
