HOLON receives nationwide German approval to test HOLON urban
Germany's Federal Motor Transport Authority granted HOLON approval under section 16 AFGBV to test HOLON urban on public roads nationwide with an onboard safety driver.
Evidence notes
- The first planned use is the ALIKE project in Hamburg, whose operating area covers roughly 37 square kilometres.
- During the approved tests, HOLON urban performs the driving task autonomously while an onboard safety driver supervises and can intervene.
- The permit runs through the end of 2026 and covers federal, state and district roads across Germany, while excluding motorways.
