Aeronext consortium wins Akita bear-countermeasure drone trial
Akita Prefecture selected a four-company consortium to test automated patrol, early detection and public alerts using existing remote-drone infrastructure.

Evidence notes
- The consortium comprises Change Holdings, Toko Computer Service, Aeronext and NEXT DELIVERY.
- NEXT DELIVERY reports more than 1,800 remotely operated automated flights under Japan's Level 3.5 framework.
- The programme will reuse SkyHub logistics operations already active in 11 regions, allowing logistics and bear-monitoring missions to share infrastructure.
