Einride and DAF begin Level 4 electric-truck integration programme
Einride will integrate its autonomous-driving stack with DAF electric trucks through a staged engineering and approval programme supported by TNO.

Evidence notes
- Interface definition and validation begins in 2026, followed by software integration and commissioning on a DAF vehicle in 2027.
- TNO will support vehicle-interface testing and type-approval work as the partners prepare the combined platform for commercial use.
- The programme targets SAE Level 4 freight operation, extending an existing relationship that previously covered DAF electric trucks in Einride's fleet.
Company context
Einride develops and operates digital, electric and autonomous road-freight systems. Founded in Stockholm in 2016, the company combines cabless autonomous vehicles, electric trucks, charging infrastructure, remote operations and Saga AI transport-management software. Its customer base spans major shippers in Europe, the United States and the Middle East, with commercial deployments designed around complete freight networks rather than vehicle sales alone.
