AIR selects Elmo motor-control stack for Heavy Lift UAS
AIR partnered with Elmo Motion Control to integrate Gold HV servo drives across all eight propulsion motors on its autonomous Heavy Lift cargo aircraft.

Evidence notes
- The Group 4 VTOL aircraft is designed for a 550 lb payload and one-hour endurance.
- Elmo says its air-cooled drive architecture removes the need for a heavier liquid-cooling system.
- AIR disclosed that more than 25 Heavy Lift aircraft had already been ordered and paid for.
Company context
AIR develops electric vertical-takeoff aircraft for uncrewed cargo logistics and piloted personal flight. Its Heavy Lift UAS carries up to 550 lb for defence, commercial and humanitarian missions, while AIR ONE follows a separate piloted-aircraft certification path.
