1X shifted from wheeled industrial androids toward a home humanoid programme

The company now called 1X began as Halodi Robotics and commercialised the wheeled EVE platform for guarded and industrial environments. After rebranding, it made the bipedal NEO home robot the centre of its public strategy while retaining EVE as a separate deployed platform. NEO is therefore a change in target environment and embodiment, not simply the next generation of the same industrial robot.
