Airtificial is a Spanish industrial technology group spanning intelligent robotics, aerospace and infrastructure. Its Intelligent Robots division engineers automated assembly and inspection systems, while Aerospace & Defense produces composite structures for programmes including SkyDrive’s SD-05.
About
Airtificial was formed in 2018 through the combination of Inypsa and Carbures and is listed in Madrid. The group operates through Intelligent Robots, Aerospace & Defense and Infrastructure divisions, with engineering and production activity across Europe, the Americas and Asia. Its robotics exposure is concentrated in customer production systems rather than a general-purpose robot platform.
The Intelligent Robots business designs automated assembly lines, handling cells, inspection equipment and control systems for automotive and other manufacturers. Separately, Aerospace & Defense engineers and produces lightweight composite structures. SkyDrive selected Airtificial to supply carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic structures for the SD-05 aircraft, a materials-and-manufacturing role distinct from Airtificial’s factory-automation work. Korthos tracks both lanes while keeping manufacturing automation as the primary company taxonomy.
