Apex Mobility is a South Korean autonomous-mobility joint venture formed by Socar with Krafton as a core investor. Its first commercial layer uses Socar’s connected car-sharing fleet to collect driving video, vehicle telemetry and accident edge cases, then anonymizes, synchronizes and labels the material for autonomous-driving model training and simulation.
The company can also collect data to customer specifications by region, period, vehicle type and driving scenario. Its August 2026 launch draws on roughly 25,000 connected vehicles and a dedicated sensor-equipped prototype, while its longer-term roadmap extends into autonomous ride-hailing and other mobility services.
