Attabotics restarted under a buyer after insolvency protection rather than continuing through an ordinary acquisition
Attabotics sought Canadian insolvency protection in 2025 after running out of operating cash. LaFayette Systems acquired the technology and announced a 2026 restart using a mix of legacy staff and material-handling veterans, with the Calgary site continuing and support framed as part of the new ownership. The cube-storage technology and brand resumed, but this was a post-insolvency restart under a new financial and operating base, not uninterrupted survival of the former company.
