About Bühler Motor

Bühler Motor traces its family-owned engineering business to a clock factory founded in Germany in 1855 and began producing electric motors in the 1950s. The group now designs and manufactures customized electromechanical drives across automotive, aviation, industrial automation, mobility, agriculture and medical applications, with production and engineering sites on several continents.

Its bMotion platform combines DC and brushless motors with planetary or worm gearing, encoders and holding brakes in prevalidated configurations. These modules can provide compact positioning and motion for automated equipment, although Bühler does not present a dedicated robot-joint family comparable with specialist humanoid suppliers. Korthos therefore records motors as primary and keeps controllers and encoders as supported component details.
