Guidance Marine develops relative position reference sensors for dynamic-positioning systems. Its CyScan, RadaScan, Mini RadaScan, Artemis, SceneScan and SPECS products use laser, radar, microwave and vision technologies to support vessel positioning, heading and situational awareness, with integration across major DP systems and DP Classes 1–3.
The systems serve offshore energy, marine construction, ports, defense and autonomous-vessel programs, including station-keeping and close-quarters manoeuvring. The business traces its operating history to Guidance Control Systems in 1991 and is currently part of Solix. Hexagon agreed on August 26, 2026 to acquire the company, with closing expected by year-end.
