Founded in 2016 as Airborne ECS, the Utah company adopted the Intergalactic name in 2021 as its work expanded beyond environmental control into broader thermal subsystems and equipment. Its founding engineers came from aerospace thermal-management programmes and built the business around microtube heat exchangers, high-voltage equipment and compact system architectures for weight-constrained platforms.
Intergalactic offers preconfigured and custom thermal systems alongside pumps, heat exchangers, controllers, power-distribution units, compressors, fans and heaters. The company reports flight-tested equipment and AS9100-certified production in St. George, with applications spanning electric aircraft, military systems and spacecraft. Eve selected Intergalactic to supply the eVTOL thermal-management system, giving the company a defined production-facing role in advanced air mobility rather than a speculative application claim.
